A second medical opinion is a review of your diagnosis and proposed treatment by a different doctor, usually a specialist, before you decide how to proceed. It does not replace your treating doctor. It gives you another expert view that you can discuss with them, especially for serious conditions or major procedures.
Yes. Asking for a second opinion is common, particularly before major surgery or after a serious diagnosis. Keep your treating doctor informed, share the same reports with the second specialist, and take any differences in advice back to your treating doctor, who makes the final decision about your care.
Pricing is per case, with no subscription. A Standard case is ₹2,500 and a Priority case is ₹4,500, paid once online through Razorpay when you submit. The Standard target is 48 hours and the Priority target is 24 hours.
You need the patient's name and phone number, a specialty, and your question for the specialist (at least 10 characters). Email, age, sex, diagnosis and a treatment plan summary are optional but help. You can upload lab reports, imaging and discharge summaries, up to 100 MB per file and 500 MB per case.
